Miles for Smiles has three components: an auction and party for all participants, a 36 km bike ride for registrants and a private BBQ.

This year, the Women Lawyers BBQ is scheduled for Tuesday, September 20th, 2011, rain or shine.  Please contact Deborah Barfknecht at 905-521-1898 to RSVP.

The auction will be on Thursday, September 15th, 2011 at Tailgate Charlie's at 69 John St. S. in Hamilton. The auction is a fund-raising event in itself, but it also serves as the “kick off” for the ride. It’s a chance for members of the legal and business communities to come together and share a laugh or two while raising money for a great cause.

We are raffling a "KONA ONE20 - 19" Red and White Trail Bike donated by the Biking Barristers: Don Clarke, David Sherman, Terry Shaughnessy, Dennis Reardon and Pierik's Cycle.  With a retail value of $1,910 this fantastic prize will get your past the finish line in stellar time.  Tickets prices are $5.00 each ticket or 3 for $10.00.  The draw is to take place on Thursday, September 15, 2011.  Tickets are on sale now.  You can buy one from any of the committee members or drop by Tailgate Charlie's and buy your raffle ticket today.

The bicycle ride will take place on Saturday, September 17th, 2011 on the local rail trails. For more details about riding with us and raising funds, contact Ian Corneil at 905-528-7963 ext. 120 or ride@milesforsmilesride.ca.  All riders must submit all monies and registration forms on or before Saturday September 17, 2011.
