Do you remember when I mentioned that we hoped to announce some additional special musicial guests for the Miles for Smiles auction? No? Well, I did mention that – and I am pleased to report that the time for one such announcement is NOW.
We are very happy to announce that Michelle Titian will be performing at the Miles for Smiles auction on Thursday September 18th, 2008. The auction – an annual event that also serves as the “kick off” for the Miles for Smiles bicycle ride – will be held at the Liquid Kitty Lounge which is located downstairs from Tailgate Charlies; events get under way at 5:30 p.m. that night. You don’t have to be a rider to attend the auction – everyone is welcome to join us for some good times in support of a great cause.
In November 2007, Michelle Titian won a Hamilton Music Award as the female artist of the year (see the Hamilton Spectator article about the 2007 awards here). Michelle joins the most star-studded list of performers ever scheduled for the Miles for Smiles auction: you may recall that we previously announced that Hamilton’s own Adam Castelli will also be providing us with some entertainment on that evening.
